No. Clients pay you directly — into your own bank, PayPal or Stripe account. Nexus never touches the money and takes no commission. Card payments carry Stripe's standard fees, which go to Stripe, not to us.
No. You can import your Apple or Google calendar so everything sits in one view from day one. Old bookings keep working exactly as they did — Nexus simply becomes where the new ones land.

You drop to the free plan — you keep your calendar, your clients and all your data. The Pro extras (deposits, public page, waitlist, flash vault) simply switch off until you upgrade. Nothing is deleted and no card is charged automatically.
